John Durham

John Kenneth Durham, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015. John was an accomplished layout engineer and surveyor, having headed up many design and building projects with T.V.A., Talley Construction and countless other foreman and surveying positions. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Ross Durham; father, Robert E. Durham Jr.; and niece, Amanda Graham Barker. Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Beth Durham, Vallejo, Calif.; son, Blane Michael Durham, Chattanooga; grandsons, Joshua and Jonah Vargis, Vallejo; sisters, Collette Thomas and Angie Pace, Lookout Mountain, Ga., and Sophia Cashwell, Dahlonega, Ga.; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A celebration of Johns life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. at Ziggys Grill, 607 Cherokee Blvd., Chattanooga. All are welcome to come and share their memories of John.
