Jo Roach

Jo Hardin Roach, 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015. She was born in Bonham, Texas, to the late, Aubrey and Jewel Sanford Hardin, but has lived most of her life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a cheerleading coach and sponsor for many years. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Ray Roach; daughter, Robin Renee Roach; and two brothers, Max and Jack Hardin. Survivors include her daughter, Joy Roach of Rossville; sons and daughter-in-law, Joel and Terri Roach of The Colony, Texas, Mark Roach of Columbus, Ga., and Michael Roach of Australia; four grandchildren, Danielle, Michael and Micayla Roach and Aubrey Roach-Blackwell; numerous extended family and friends. Her Home Going Celebration Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Brother T.D. Burgess and Brother Sammy Burgess officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
