Pamela Chauncey

Pamela Faye Chauncey, born June 4, 1955, in Soddy-Daisy, passed away in her home on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015. She was 60 years old. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, William McKinley Chauncey and Lettie Jane Posey Chauncey; sister, Patricia Ann Chauncey Smith; and nephew, William Jordan Schwenk. She is survived by her best friend of more than 30 years, Barbara McEliece. She is also survived by her siblings, Dot Gardier, Charlie Chauncey and Sandra Berthold. Her nieces and nephews include Darlene Case, Lisa Virusso, Regina Schwenk, Chuck Chauncey, Jason Chauncey and Ashley Stewart, her goddaughter. Pam, or "MoMo," had two granddaughters, Harper Rose Stewart and Paislee Grace Stewart. Dogs were the core of Pams life, and she spent many years as a member of Small Paws, fostering, loving and adopting Bichons. At the time of her death, she was mama to Posey, Harry and Muffin. Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. Burial will follow at Varner Cemetery.
