Alberta Jamerson

Alberta Dianna Jamerson, 65, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015. She has lived in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas for most of her life and was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Chickamauga. She was known for being able to make anything but especially enjoyed making crafts and working with flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carson and Ninnian Chastene, and sister, Betty Edmondson. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 41 years, Mike Jamerson of Rossville; children, Annetta Alvarez of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; sons, Tony Laduke of Lookout Mountain, Bo Laduke of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., and Scott Laduke of Atlanta; brothers, Troy Spurlock of Fort Oglethorpe and Roy Spurlock of Fort Lauderdale; several grandchildren; special friend, Terry Walls; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Steve Camp officiating. Burial will be private.
