Hattie Cofield

Hattie Cofield, 97, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, in a local health care facility. She was a faithful member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, where she was a church member. She worked in domestic and made quilts. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bobbie Taylor; brother, Odell Taylor. Survivors include sister, Mary Edwards; nieces, Patricia Woodruff and Brenda Taylor; nephews, Larry Taylor and Terry Taylor; devoted friends, Sallie Hardy and Eleanor Thomas; church family and other relatives and friends. Deacon Ossie Pope will conduct the graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, in Forest Hills Cemetery. The body will lie in state Thursday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
