Carole Hodnett

Carole Diana Hodnett, 74, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015. She was a member of New Lookout Baptist Church. Carole was born in Lineville, Ala., to the late Quinton and Goldie Hodnett. Carole retired from Olan Mills. She loved gospel music; she and her sisters had a singing group called the "Whisper Sisters" that sang in many churches. She is survived by her two sons, Richard and Russell Douglas; two brothers and three sisters Mickey and Randy Hodnett, Shirley Daniels, Judy Fitzgerald, Kathy West; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved Bella and Frankie. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. EDT Friday, Oct. 9, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Bill Gill and Greg Daniels officiating.
