Hubert Bodenhamer

Hubert Harden "Bodie" Bodenhamer, 91, passed away Oct. 6, 2015. He was a member of Sand Mountain United Methodist Church. Mr. Bodenhamer enjoyed being able to serve the needs of area folks thru the Tri-State Food Pantry, of which he was co-founder. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mona Coffey Bodenhamer; second wife, Winoa Crisp Bodenhamer; sons, Ronnie and Monty; daughter, Marva Glover Cunningham; granddaughter, Tracy Bodenhamer. He is survived by his son, Jerry Bodenhamer of Dawsonville, Ga.; daughters-in-law, Bonnie and Jean Bodenhamer; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. EDT Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Browns Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. EDT Friday, Oct. 9; 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Trenton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Bodenhamer requested that donations be made to the Tri-State Food Pantry Inc., 2026 Highway 136, Trenton, GA 30752.
