Terry Durham

Terry Leroy Durham, 68, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was of the Baptist Faith. Terry served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired in 2003 from Louis P. Baxton. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother who will be missed by all that knew him. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Houston and Jessie Plaster Durham; and brothers, Curtis Dwight and Douglas Eugene Durham. He is survived by his children, Lachelle Thompson, of Alabama, Scott (Dawn) Durham, of Chickamauga and Derick Durham, of South Carolina; sister, Mary Ruth Meador; brother, David Durham; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends all day on Sunday. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home-J.
