Jackie Simpson

Jackie Dean Simpson, 45, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was of the Southern Baptist faith. Jackie, a graduate of LFO, class of 1988, served his country in the U.S. Army and was employed by many local hospitals. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, fianc and loyal friend, whom we will all miss. Jackie was preceded in death by parents, William J. and Margaret McEntire Simpson; brother, Billy Simpson; and brother-in-law, Charlie Romines. He is survived by his children, Brandin (Nicole) Simpson, Brandii Simpson, and Destiny Hampton; fiance, Deborah Horne Simpson; childrens mother, Sis Simpson; sisters, Cookie Romines, Linda Farris, Janice Harris and Sharon Simpson; grandchildren, Carter Lee and Raelynn Lucille Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015 from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
