Coy Crow

Coy Arnold Crow, 65, passed away on Aug. 30, 2015, in Mentone. Coy was born on July 17, 1950, to Homer and Bernise Crow in Mentone. He attended school in Chattanooga graduating from City High School in 1968. He also attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Coy was a veteran of the United States Army having served with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. He married Susan Fuller on Feb. 28, 1981, in Barstow, Texas. Coy was employed in the telecommunications field for many years, ending his career as a fiber optics engineer. He found great enjoyment in music, especially playing guitar with friends and family. Coy was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Crow Pullen; his parents; and sister, Joyce Crow Cooper. He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Crow; son, Dillon Crow; grandson, Garrett Landry; and the mother of his children, Susan Crow, all of Prosper, Texas. He is also survived by his brother, Barry Crow, of Fort Payne, Ala.; sister, Doreen Waters, of Mentone, Ala.; uncle, Dewey Crow of Mentone; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5, at Burt Chapel-Valley Head. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Officiating will be Rev. Olen Crowe.
