Larry Hardwood

Larry Vernon Harwood, 67, of Chattanooga, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Harwood and Ruby Jones; brother, Gary Brackett; sisters, Susie Shultz and Debbie Doss. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Patricia Edmond Harwood; son, Cary Edwin Harwood; daughter, Kim (Nick) Wilson; sister, Linda White; grandchildren, Tabatha Harwood and Kerry Jones; two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Knight officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
