Willard Hanes

Willard Woolford Hanes, 81, passed away April 25, 2016. He was retired from the manufacturing industry and was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 114, Harrison, Tenn., for 52 years. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Vedia Hanes; brothers, Glen Hanes and Milburn Hanes; and sister, Ruth Hanes. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Hanes; daughters, Linda "Chase" (Jim) Rice, Marcia (Doug) Brown, and Lisa Jones; six grandchildren, Amber Maynor, Jeffrey Rice, Nichole Brown, Michael Brown, Jessica Jones, Kristen Jones; three great-grandchildren, Landon Maynor, Brayden Maynor, and Jadyn Rice; sisters Hazel Dempsey Eggert and Vivian Hicks; special friends Kenny and Cindy Hill, Mariah Fulmer, Whitley Hoover, and "Little Man" Kai Hoover; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2016, at 1 p.m., EDT at Ebenezer Baptist Church, with Rev. Todd Smith and Rev. David Patty officiating. Burial will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, with Masonic graveside services. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., EDT at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.
