Cathy Kennedy

Linda Catherine Kennedy ("Cathy"), 65, passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by family at her son's home in Chickamauga, Ga. Originally from Richmond, Ind., Cathy lived in Heidelberg, Germany, before settling in Morgan County (Wartburg), Tenn., to work at Brushy Mountain State Prison, from which she retired. Cathy loved music and dancing. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Pierson; her brother, Gale Pierson; and her nephew Jeremy Pierson. She is survived by her mother, Delores; her brother, Bobby and wife, Linda; her daughter Tiffany and husband, Kevin; her son Judd and wife, Jenni; her grandchildren, Tara, Rhett, Austin, Maya, Ethan, Garren, and Landon; and a special dog, named Gizmo. As was her wish, she will be cremated and her ashes scattered on the beach.
