Mary Winston

Mary Winston, 62, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016. She was employed by Shaw Industries for 20 years. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, James and Carrie Green; and sisters, Dimple and Beatrice Green. She is survived by two daughters, Aronna (Eleanor) Walker Winston and LaShunda (Calvin) Yearby, Jr; son, Craig (Tonya) Steward-Winston; sisters, Anna Hegler, Amanda Cowan; Beverly, Jackie and Yevola Green; brother, Attorney Fredrick H.L. McClure; grandchildren, Jarreitt and Jarrell Toney, Jeffery, Jamal and Justin Lackey, Quintavious Akins, Janeequa and John Townsend, III, and a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016, at New Emmanuel Baptist Chuch. Interment in Highland Cemetery The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
