Anna Battle

Anna Martha Battle Anna Martha Lindsey Battle, 91, went home to be with our Lord on Aug. 22, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Battle; parents, Horace and Bethel Lindsey; brothers, Dale Lindsey and James "Bud" Lindsey; sister, Christine Lindsey. Survivors include her children, Annette Battle Murrie and Johnny Dale Battle; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Marie Battle Holt, Sharon Lindsey, Carol Battle and Ruth Lindsey; brother-in-law, Jim Battle; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Martha loved her family, to travel, being part of the quilters group at Tyner United Methodist Church and her friends at Hickory Valley Retirement Center. She was a graduate of Chattanooga High School. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
