Olen Hendon

Olen Lee Hendon, 75, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016. He was a local business man and land developer. Olen was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Lois Hendon. Survivors include his wife, Frieda Ann Hendon; son, Ronald (Cristi) Hendon; daughters, Sharon Lane, Carol Hendon, Loretta Lynn Green, Julie Hendon, Tara May; brothers, Clarence (Karen) Hendon and B.F. (Rochelle) Hendon; sisters, Sue (Paul) Ingram and Peggy (Benny) MacIntosh; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Alan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Hendon Cemetery.
