Odessa Ervin

Odessa Ervin was born July 28, 1932, and passed away at home on Nov. 29, 2016. She was retired from Senior Neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Pee-Wee” Ervin; sons, Sylvester and Eddie Ervin; and daughter, Crita James. Survivors include her sons, Willie Ervin, William Ervin Jr., Alvin Ervin, Gary Ervin, and Marvin Ervin; daughters, Annie Smith, Vanessa Griffin, Barbara Ervin, Gean McMahan, and Denise Hernadez; brothers, Aaron and James Moore; sisters, Mattie Davis and Earlene Betts; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, at noon in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Tyrus Chilsom presiding; internment to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
