Virginia Dean

Virginia Lee Dean, 83, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, at NHC in Dunlap. Born in Long Island, Ala., she was a daughter of the late James Mahan and Bertha Smith Mahan, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Elora Flanigan; and brother, James Mahan Jr. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Cherie and Wally Mann Sr., of Gruetli-Laager, Tenn.; brother, Mack(Jo)Mahan, of Chattanooga; grandsons, Wally Mann Jr. (Shanna), of Tracy City, Tenn. and Tim Mann (Julie), of Smyrna, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Ashton "Kole" Mann, Annisten Hayes Mann, Talon Brye Mann, Dalton Eli Mann; a great-grandchild due in March, Harrison Cooper; and a great-grandchild due in April, Paislynn Mann; nieces, Debra Lee Flanigan, Linda Peterson (Gary) and Lisa Henry (Fred); nephews, Michael Douglas Flanigan, Allen Mahan (Ann). Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at First Baptist Church in Gruetli-Laager, with her son-in-law, Brother Wally Mann Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Payne Cemetery in Trenton, Ga.
