Minnie Kilby

Minnie Lou Kilby, 95, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, January 31, 2016. She was born in Franklin, Ga., to the late Artis and Mary Kelley. She moved to Chattanooga 50 years ago and after searching for a church home united with the Greater Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Dr. Nathaniel Carter. She leaves to cherish her precious memories four sons, Willie B. (Rose) Kilby, Jimmy Lee (Floyce) Kilby, Oscar (Afonda) Kilby and Arter Kliby; one daughter, Mary Nell (Huett) Burden; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces nephews, family and friends. Pastor William Taylor will conduct the funeral service Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at noon in the funeral home chapel. Burial: Forest Hills Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 1-7 p.m. Sunday.
