Dana Kinamore

Dana Denise White Kinamore, 57, of Chattanooga, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016. She was born May 22, 1958, in Cleveland, Tenn., and was a graduate of Chattanooga City High School. Dana retired from TVA after 22 years of service, where she served as the Administrative Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Nuclear Human Resources. She was currently employed as an Administrative Assistant with First Things First. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship Church where served on the Media Ministry. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry White and Mary Frances White (adoptive) and Homer Clarence Swafford and Glenda Underwood. Dana leaves to cherish her memory a devoted husband of 37 years, Kevelin D. Kinamore Sr.; children, Renikka (Herb) Beasley, DeYondalan (Virgil) Hutchinson, Kevelin (Leila) Kinamore Jr., Kierre Kinamore, Tiphani (Juan) Gonzalez, Dontae Kinamore, Antwon Kinamore; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Janice (Verner) Darden, Silvia (James) Nichols, Ann Brown Pier; brothers, Leonard (Gloria) Underwood, Kevin White, Thomas Earl Stallings, Curtis Stallings; brothers-in-law, Larry (Yvonne) Kinamore, Joshua Burney; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (Charlie) Asberry and Darrene Watson; aunts, Grace Swafford, Joann Billingsley and Geraldine Wright; devoted childhood friend, Chrise Jones; long-time friend, Jacqueline Worthington; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, godchildren and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the New Covenant Fellowship Church, 1326 N. Moore Road, Pastor Bernie Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeland Cemetery, Chattanooga.
