Donald Stoker FORT OGLETHORPE Donald "Pop" Stoker, 76, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016. He was a native and lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Chickamauga, where he served as Deacon for many years. Don retired as General Manager of North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation, after 41 years of service. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia Ann Stoker; son, Gregory Alan Stoker; parents,Olin and Elton Stoker; brother, Jack Stoker; and sister, Faye Haney. Survivors are his loving daughters, Kimela ( Alan) Evans, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. and Karen (Greg) Neal, of Rock Spring,Ga.; daughter in law, Christa Stoker, of Chickamauga,Ga.; sister Linda (Al) Graham; very special friend, Joyce Bacon; grandchildren,Cody (Courtney) Justice, Casey (Courtney) Justice, Jake, Josh and Jonah Neal; step grandchildren, Josh and Alana Evans; and four great-grandchildren, Kailee, Jake, Star and Molly Jo; sister in law, Doris Stoker; several nieces; and nephews Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Charles McElhaney and Rev. Garland Hullender officiating. Interment in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Mens Bible Class of Bethel Baptist Church.
