Alline Kirby Griffith, 83, passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at her residence. Mrs. Kirby was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dowell and Turrie Tolbert Johnson; husbands, Neil Kirby, Ira "Sarge" Griffith; son, Rickey Kirby; five sisters and three brothers. Survivors include son, Eddie Kirby (Darnell); daughter-in-law, Sandy Kirby; grandchildren, Keith Kirby (Savannah), Lance Kirby (Erika), Jesse Kirby, Joey Kirby (Tara), Cody Kirby, Cory Kirby (Serena); great-grandchildren, Makenna, Ben, Stone, Henley, Jakob, Keeleigh, Jaxson, Camp, Dawson, Oakley, Cambrie Kirby; special caregiver, Fay Lay. Funeral services are Sunday at 3 p.m. CST at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel, Ider, with Brother Jim Hixson and Brother Jeff Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rosalie cemetery.
