Jean Robinson

Jean Jeanette Robinson, 88, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, in Life Care of Rhea County. Jean was born in Elyris, Ohio, on June 20, 1927, and married her sweetheart Robby, on Aug. 20, 1944. She was a precious and godly mother, loving wife, and foster mom to many children over the years. She taught Bible in Rhea County Schools and surrounding areas for many years. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Estella Lieber Johnson; husband, Kloran Robby Robinson; two brothers, Leon and Raymond Johnson; three sisters, Alma Pesta, Anna Mae Harner and Doris Malone. Survivors include one son, Dean (Karen) Robinson, of Evensville, Tenn.; three daughters, Diannia (Wardell) Everett, Debbie Jean (Jimmy) Dyer, both of Dayton, Tenn., Brenda (Randy) McClure, of Virginia; six grandchildren, Jimmy Dean Dyer, Coty Robinson, Lisa (Stan) Bolding, Randy McClure, Vanity (Brian) Cope, Sheree (Robby) Anderson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, with Rev. Alan Stewart and Rev. Bill Ewing. Burial is in Spivey Cemetery.
