Jack Phalen

Jack Edwin Phalen, 84, of Ooltewah, passed away on Jan. 17, 2016, in a local hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in the Korean War. He was also a member of the Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Phalen. He is survived by his daughters, Jackie (Jeff) Wait, Janice (Bill) Huggins; five grandchildren, Kara, Nathan, Abilgail and Seth Wait and Sydney Huggin; and a special friend, Cari Gonzalez. Funeral services will be held Jan. 18, 2016, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Wait officiating. Interment will follow at the Collegedale Memorial Park.
