Ray Crutchfield Jr.

Ray Crutchfield Jr. Raymond "Ray" Wilson Crutchfield Jr., 72, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and was a member of the East Chattanooga Church of God. Ray was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from Komatsu in 2008. He enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, hiking, birdwatching, and antique cars were a true passion in his life. Ray also loved his granddogs, Izzie, Olli, Hughey, and Ruby. Survivors include son Michael Crutchfield of Chattanooga; daughter, Angela (Jeremy) Wilson of Rossville; step-granddaughters Patrisha Wilson and Victoria (Jake) Dodd; one step-great-granddaughter, Ariel Raines. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Don Glenn officiating. Interment in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South. Memorial Contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 1275 K Street NW, Suite 250, Washington DC 20005.
