Ray Crutchfield Jr.

Ray Crutchfield Jr. Raymond "Ray" Wilson Crutchfield Jr., 72, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 25, 2016, at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area and was a member of the East Chattanooga Church of God. Ray was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from Komatsu in 2008. He enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors, hiking, birdwatching, and antique cars were a true passion in his life. Ray also loved his granddogs, Izzie, Olli, Hughey, and Ruby. Survivors include son Michael Crutchfield of Chattanooga; daughter, Angela (Jeremy) Wilson of Rossville; step-granddaughters Patrisha Wilson and Victoria (Jake) Dodd; one step-great-granddaughter, Ariel Raines. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Don Glenn officiating. Interment in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
