Kristy Knox

Kristy Knox, 46, of Hixson passed away Friday June 24, 2016. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she graduated from Red Bank High School in 1987. Kristy worked at McKee Bakery for many years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her children, who were her life. She will be remembered by her kind heart and a smile that would light up a room. Kristy was preceded in death by her son, Taylor Thomas. Survivors include her husband, Eric Knox; children, Hayden Thomas, Cameron and Abby Knox; parents, Bill and Brenda Vineyard; siblings, Kim (David) Mullin, Billy (Laura) Vineyard and Karen (Kel) Topping; many nieces and nephews. A memorial ceremony will be conducted at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 30, 2016, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Tom Shoemate officiating.
