Lucille Maxwell

Lucille Kile Maxwell, 79, passed away at her home on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016. She was an avid naturalist, loved the mountains of East Tennessee and always surrounded herself with many plants and flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and we will carry many wonderful memories of her and her love of family and nature. She was preceded in death by her children, Brooke Maxwell, Stan Maxwell, and Carmen Renae Maxwell; parents, Walker and Virginia Kile; brothers, Lynn Kile, Stan Kile, Ken Kile, Gene Winters; sisters Mary Hadorn and Jo Jenkins. Survivors include her children, Daniel Mark Maxwell, and wife, Jody, of Ooltewah, Mike Maxwell, of Ocoee, Tenn., Shelly Webb, of Sweetwater, Tenn., Melanie O'Connor, of Sweetwater, Tenn. Byron Maxwell, and wife Greta, of Polk County, Tenn.; brother, Muril Kile, of Sweetwater, Tenn.; sisters Gail O'Daniel, Ruth McKee, both of Sweetwater, Tenn., and Carolyn Henry, of Cleveland, Tenn.;s everal nieces; nephews and other extended family members also survive. Family and friends will gather at 2 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 4, 2016, at Watson Chapel Cemetery for the committal service. There will be no formal visitation.
