Charlotte Acuff

Charlotte Ann Campbell Acuff, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Charlotte was a member of Central Church of Christ in Chattanooga. Charlotte was preceded by her husband, Robert J. Acuff; parents, Frank and Belle Campbell; 18 brothers and sisters. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Joyce Acuff (Mike) Dowlen; two sons, Robert C. Acuff and William W. Acuff; grandsons, Michael (Michele) Dowlen, Jason (Ashley) Dowlen, Nick (Haley) Dowlen and Christopher J. Acuff; six great-grandchildren, Katelyn Dowlen, Alex Dowlen, Zachary Dowlen, Andrew Dowlen, Caden Dowlen and Chase Dowlen. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, from 4-7 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace and on Tuesday, May 24 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Funeral service for Charlotte will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, with Minister David Schonhoff officiating.
