Ronald Logan

Ronald Logan, 82, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, May 19, 2016. He attended the University of Chattanooga and Georgia Tech. He was an acclaimed artist during the 1950s,60s and 70s. His paintings hung in Hunter Museum, Museum One, Plum Nelly's (early years), Birmingham Museum of Fine Art and around the country. Mr. Logan competed in the Olympics as a sharp shooter in the 1960s and was a pilot and world traveler. He also enjoyed a career in the music industry working with some of the biggest names in the industry and across the world. Most recently he was living in Honduras. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert F. and Clara M. Logan; brothers, Jean Logan, Harold F. Logan, Glenn Logan; daughter, Glenda Logan 17, and Becky Logan 11 He is survived by his wife, Gloria Agulair; his children, Celeste L. Glandon, Ron L. Logan Jr., and wife, Valerie Valerie Chappell Logan, John C. Logan, and wife, Starr Coburn Logan and Kathy Lowe; grandchildren, William Logan, Joanna Miles, Mackenzi Logan, Zachari Stefanu, Aiden Logan, Kyle Coburn; one great-granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Honduras. Memorial services to be announced at a later date.
