Roberta Larkin

TUNNELL HILL — Roberta Smith Larkin, 80, passed away on Oct. 20, 2016. She was born on April 17, 1936, to the late Otto and Anna Smith. Roberta was a lifelong resident of this area and a follower of Jesus Christ. She loved reading and sewing, but most importantly she cherished time spent with her family. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby J. Larkin; twin sons, Stanley and Steven Larkin; and her brother, Charles Smith. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Angela M. Morrison (Bobby); and brothers, Harold T. Smith (Brenda) and Terry G. Smith (Cathy); grandson, Luke S. Morrison. In addition to these, she also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Oct. 23, 2016, at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW. A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, at Companion Funeral Home, with Rev. Rusty Asble officiating. A private interment will take place in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request the memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, Tenn., Manna Ministry in Roberta’s memory.
