Rocky Ramsey

Rocky Ramsey, 86, of Chattanooga, died Oct. 21, 2016, in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Mr. Ramsey retired from the Carpenters Local Union after many years of service. He was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, enjoyed gardening and was a gifted musician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Ramsey and two daughters, Alicia Marsh and Judith King. Survivors are his daughter, Pat Mahaffey; grandchildren, Everett Kellis, J.D. (Tena) Kellis, Marlene (Ronnie) Pittman and Trina (Jeff) Wells; great-granddaughter, Allyx Pittman; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
