Sandy Prescott

FLINTSTONE — Sandy Faye Raines Prescott, 60, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016. Sandy was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but truly enjoyed being with and spoiling her two granddaughters. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Raines. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 35 years, Terry Prescott, of Flintstone, Ga.; mother, Jeanette Raines, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; son, Micheal Dannel of Walker County, Ga.; sister, Brenda Raines Hale, of Chattanooga; two granddaughters, Alexandria “Alex” and Ashley Dannel and numerous extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel, with Bro. Edwin Prescott officiating. Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
