Mary Alice Hash

Mary Alice Hash, 83, passed away on Tuesday, Sept, 20, 2016. Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Chattanooga National Cemetery Mrs. Hash was born Mary Alice Slatton, July 22, 1933, in Chattanooga. She graduated from Central High School in 1952, then began her career with Southern Bell Telecommunications. In 1956, she married her husband, Kenneth B. Hash, and lived in Chattanooga, until 1976; when they moved to Atlanta, Ga. Mary Alice retired from BellSouth Telecommunications in 1992. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Carolyn Slatton; sister, Carolyn Slatton Gould; brother, Milton Slatton; and her husband, Kenneth B. Hash. She leaves behind her daughter, Kathy Lee Hash; daughter and son-in-law, Karen H. and Charles E. Cain; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Casey and Dana Merritt Cain; sister, Bonnie Slatton; and brothers, H.F. Slatton, Gregory Slatton and Ray Slatton.
