LaVerne L. Fowler

LaVerne Fowler LaVerne L. Fowler, 89, of Crossville, Tenn., passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, in a Chattanooga health care facility. A native of Chattanooga, she was a member of the Church of God and was retired from TVA. She was the daughter of the late Ollie Cyree and Nate Lea and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Fowler, in February of this year. Survivors include two sisters, Wanda (Gene) Jacobs and Judy (Darle) Parker; and her brother, Jerry (Frances) Cyree; three nieces and two nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Chattanooga National Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
