Nila Ruth Wallin LaFAYETTE Nila Ruth Wallin, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Nila attended LaFayette Church of God and Old Fort Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Wallin; son, James Ray Wallin; parents, Claude and Julia Bradley; brother, Jimmy Bradley. Nila is survived by daughter, Ann (Jim) Barbee; granddaughter, Kelly (Daniel) Barbee Young; great-grandson, Landen Barbee, all of LaFayette; several nieces and nephews. Family extends a warm thank you to Life Choice Hospice of LaFayette. Special thank you to Ramona Pickle, Emily Cauthen and Maxine Keene. Funeral from the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at 4 p.m., with Rev. Bobby Wash and Pastor Dub Galloway officiating. Interment to follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, from noon until time of service. Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home.
