LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN — Johnny Sampson, 71, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He was the owner and operator of Johnny’s Junction on Lookout Mountain for many years. He was employed by Walden Security Service of Chattanooga, Tenn. He was a member of Trenton Lodge #179 F&AM. He was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Sampson; and son, Johnny Wayne Sampson Jr. Surviving include his wife, Pamela Sampson, of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; three stepchildren, Amanda, Andrea, and Clarence Sharp, all of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; two brothers, Bill Sampson, of Boaz, Ala., and Buddy Sampson, of Lookout Mountain, Ga.; one sister, Linda Sampson Attalia, Ala.; and six very loved grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, with Rev. Tommy Crider officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
