Upon Walter’s retirement as an executive at Canada Dry, he and Sara Lee moved back to their home on Lookout Mountain. As a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Sara Lee served on the altar, linen, and flower guilds. She took great delight as a founding member of the Church bookstore. She often made her home available to family and friends, many of whom included Olympians, prominent musicians, and professional athletes. She will best be remembered for her loving spirit, distinctive wit, happy demeanor, and welcoming smile.
