Anna Peters

RINGGOLD — Anna “Louise” Peters, 90, a lifelong resident of Catoosa County, Ga., she spent her later years with her daughter in Shalimar, Fla. She was of the Baptist faith. Louise loved her music and dancing. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #7674 and the Women of the Moose Post #2320 in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Henry and Delilah Simmons; loving husband, Charles A. Peters Sr.; one daughter, Sue Bryson; one son, Jerry Peters; one sister, Emily Griffin; one grandson, Stacy Lee Bryson. She is survived by her children, Diane Jenkins, of Ringgold, Ga., Chuck Peters, of Ringgold, Ga., Dottie Futrell, of Shalimar, Fla., Sherry Stover, of Chatsworth, Ga., Debbie Atkins, of Bacliff, Texas.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 25, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Ringgold chapel of Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held graveside in Anderson Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 3 p.m. with Elder, Wayne Peters officiating. Interment will follow.
