CHICKAMAUGA — Vernon “Bobo” Kell Beagles, 78, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Bobo was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, where he attended the Fellowship Sunday school class. Mr. Beagles was previously a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene and Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene. Bobo retired from Combustion/Alstom after 40 years of service. He was born in Chattanooga, to the late Mack and Pluma Bartlett Beagles. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tom, Bill, Clarence, and Herman Beagles; and sister, Cat Walker. Survivors are his loving wife of 59 years Richie Brubaker Beagles; son, Steve (Lisa) Beagles, of Ridgeland, Miss.; daughter, Christy (Scott) Norton, Ringgold; brother, Jack Beagles, of Fort Payne, Ala.; grandchildren, Hank and Sam Norton, Sarah Beth, and Rachel Ann Beagles. Funeral services will be 5:30 p.m., Thursday, in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Frank Kelly officiating.
