Terry Lanier

TRENTON — Terry Lynn Lanier, 72, passed away Aug. 15, 2017. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. His interests were antique cars and hot rods. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Godwin; parents, Waymon and Virginia Lanier; sister, Debbie Kenimer. Survivors include his daughters, Angel (Jason) Jones, Starla Lanier; sisters, Judy Long Smith and Brenda Long Benson; 11 grandchildren, Russel and Lacey Gregory, Kira Jones, Ariel McClam, Kayla McClam, Daniel McClam, Dylan McClam, Chase Hale, Sharina Godwin, Shyanna Godwin, Savannah Godwin; three great-grandchildren, Wednesday Lockhart, Silas Godwin, Kendrix Godwin; two loving ex-wives, Linda Lanier and Sandra Joyce Barger; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT today, Aug. 17, 2017, in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Rev. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Trenton Baptist Cemetery.
