Eva Solomon

RINGGOLD — Eva Jane Solomon, 89, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017. She had been a resident of North Georgia for more than 50 years, and was a member of Boynton Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include Eva’s loving husband of 70 years, Doc Solomon; daughters Rhonda (Mike) Jones, of Calhoun, Ga., Rena (Garry) Sloan, of Ringgold, Jerusha Gravitt, of Ringgold whom she loved as a daughter; grandchildren, Clayton, Clark, Julie Jones, of Calhoun, Justin Sloan, of Ringgold; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Rankin Chapel in Oakdale, TN Saturday, Aug. 19, at noon with interment directly following at Rankin Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends today 4 to 7 p.m. at Boynton Baptist Church in the Fellowship Center. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
