Rachel Harold

RINGGOLD — Rachel H. Capehart Harold, 80, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area she was a former employee of Red Food where she worked for more than 15 years and was of the Southern Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Smitherman; mother, Bertie Mae Hullender; father, Bud Hullender; brother, Frank Hullender and grandson, Nathan Nichols. She is survived by two sons, Charlie Nichols and Ray (Martina) Nichols, both of Ringgold, Ga.; sister, Patsy Watts, of Ringgold, Ga.; two brothers, Gary and Mike Hullender, both of Ringgold, Ga.; two grandchildren, Joshua and Cory Nichols, both of Ringgold, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Christian and Erica Nichols; several nieces and nephews. She will be forever loved and forever missed. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Ga.
