Sallie Chapman

LOOKOUT VALLEY — Sallie M. Chapman, age 88, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017. She was married to her husband, Milburn Chapman, for 70 years and was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Chapman was a member of the North Georgia Worship Center. Preceded in death by her parents; Sherman and Essie Wooten Bridgeman and daughter Carolyn S. Chapman. Surviving include her husband Milburn Chapman of Lookout Valley, Tenn.; son Raymond H. (Linda) Chapman of Augusta, Ga.; son Larry (Kayla) Chapman of Ooltewah, Tenn.; daughter Peggy (Jerry) Winn of Hixson, Tenn.; grandchildren Sheila (David) Elmore, Tammy Timmerman, Kevin (Angela) Chapman, Sarah (Terry) Womack, Matthew (Ashley) Winn, Alexandria Chapman; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great- grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Sallie Chapman would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga and NHC of Rossville for their loving care and compassion. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow, Aug. 23, 2017 in the chapel with Rev. Kevin Chapman and Rev. Nick Forshee officiating. Interment will follow in Fuller Cemetery.
