Junior Billingsley

JASPER — Junior Billingsley, 87, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017. Junior was a Master Sargent of The U.S. Army and was awarded The Bronze Star. He was a veteran of The Korean Conflict War and was part of the Occupation of Germany. He was preceded in death by Ernest and Thelma Layne Billingsley; wife, Helen Pickett Billingsley; brothers, Tommy and Edward Billingsley. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Kelvin Billingsley, Roger (Robin) Billingsley, Gary (Patty) Billingsley; daughters, Celia (Slick) McNabb, Delia (Len) McNabb, Rhonda (Roy) Cheaves, Debbie Beene; brother, Larry (Marilyn) Billingsley; grandchildren, Tina, Brett, Brandy, Brittany, Makayla, Rachel, Hailey , Blake, Noah; several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, from 1 to 8 p.m. CST and Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. CST. Funeral services will be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at 2 p.m. CST with Bro. Roy Cheaves and Bro. Robert Caudill officiating with full military honors presented by The Sequatchie Valley Honor Guards. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines.
