Betty Trantham

Betty Green Trantham, 84, of Sale Creek, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. She was a member of Bakewell Bible Church. Betty worked for Provident Life Insurance, GE and TVA. She loved to shop, was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Algia Graves Trantham; parents, Otto and Ruth Green; sister, Lenora Morgan and great-grandson, Bentley Young. Survivors are her sons, Greg Trantham (Tonya) and Kim Trantham; brothers, Leroy Green (Mary), Melvin Green (Jean), Jack Green (Helen), Kenneth Green (Nadine), Rodney Green (June); grandchildren, Kayla Morgan (Josh), Brittany Young (Ben), Beverly Hatfield, Zach Wilson (Leah), (Drake), Evelyn Bruner (Michael), Neyland Trantham and Cecelia Trantham; great-grandchildren, Brennan Young, Harmony Hatfield, Caleb Bruner and Mattie Mae Bruner; best friend and niece, Rhonda Knight and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Greg Trantham and Rev. Joe Runyan officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery.
