Kenneth Millican

Kenneth R. Millican, 85, of Chattanooga, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 29, 2017. Mr. Millican was a long-time land developer and General Contractor in the Chattanooga area. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a member of Alhambra Shrine in Chattanooga. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Essie Millican; parents, Ralph and Jewell Millican; sister, Jackie McGehee; and daughter, Zan Lanford. Those left to cherish his memory include grandchildren, Megan Gentry and husband Tyler, Frances Lanford, and Jake Lanford; great-grandchildren; Garrett Gentry and Harlee Gentry; brother, David Millican; sister, Audrey Neal; and a host of friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 to 2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at Lane Funeral Home on Ashland Terrace. The burial will be private.
