Mayzie Schneitman

Mayzie Healy Schneitman, 93, passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017 at her home. She was a member of Stuart Heights Baptist Church and was a former member of Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home in Hixson. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hamilton Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom McElhaney officiating. Interment will follow at noon on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions may be made to Grayson’s Ladder. Checks should be made payable to "Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga" with "Grayson's Ladder" in the memo line and mailed to P.O. Box 827, Ooltewah, TN 37363.
