Jimmy Ray Evans
JASPER — Jimmy Ray Evans, 60, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017.
Jimmy was a retired employee from Nissan. He enjoyed watching Braves games and was a coach for Little League Baseball. He loved to sit and drink coffee in the mornings with his moma.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dowey “Dick” Evans; son, Jonathan Evans; brother, Jerry Don Evans.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Audrey Evans; mother, Mary Sisk Evans; sons, Nathan Evans, Jimmy Shawn (Chasity Evans, Justin Evans; brothers, Paul Wayne (Deb) Evans, Kenneth Evans (Patsy Ross), Roger (Shelia) Evans, Ronnie (Lucy) Evans; grandchildren, Cameron and R.J. Evans; sisters, Cathy (Wesley) Brown and Brenda Slatton; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, from 1 to 8 p.m. CST.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Tate Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. CST. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
