William Sisk

ROSSVILLE — William Stanley Sisk, 65, passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at his residence. Mr. Sisk was born in Chattanooga on Dec. 24, 1951, to the late William E. and Annie Mae Sisk. Mr. Sisk was employed with U.S. Pipe in Chattanooga for 30 years as a welder and later worked with Shaw Industries in Dalton for 6 years. He was of the Christian faith and was always known for being a hard worker and enjoyed working on cars as a hobby. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Wendell Eugene Sisk. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca R. Sisk; grandson, Wendell S. (Jessica) Sisk; great-grandson, Westan Layne Sisk; several nieces and nephews. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at lane-southcrestchapel.com Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, in the South Crest Chapel. Interment will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. until the service hour. Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
