Max Steele

Brother Max Beryl Steele Jr., BSG, 46, of Chattanooga, Tenn., died Monday, Dec. 12, 2017, at Hospice Care of Chattanooga.  A celebration of life service will be held at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church located at 305 W. 7th Street, Chattanooga, TN on Saturday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m. ET with Rev. Brad Whitaker, Rector officiating. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of Music Fund at Saint Paul's. Survivors include wife, Sonya Miller Steele; son, Samuel Steele; mother, Dorotha Steele; brothers, Michael Steele, Kevin Evett (Annette), Tommy Head; several aunts and uncles. Brother Steele was a Desert Storm veteran serving in the U.S. Army as an E-4, Specialist. He was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church and a Gregorion Friar with The Brotherhood of Saint Gregory.
